Mere words will never express the love I have for YOU... Thank you for celebrating the beginning chapter of #58 with me. The cards, calls, songs, text, jewelry, flowers, perfume, candles(my favorite), monetary, selfies, and yes the hugs. I was so happy glad... It was truly the most wonderful time of the year to me.

Today is the last day of this month. Please make sure you fulfill your purpose for today. A new chapter is about to begin in your life. Seasons are about to change. Trees, grass, clothing, time, and temperature are all going to change. So, if these things are going to change, you must change also...

Letting go of the old and embracing a new and prominent season of your life should be your mission starting today. Free those that have hurt you by forgiving. Step into the new season with positive energy. The same positive energy that give to others, give to yourself. Begin to see yourself the way God sees you. He created you for purpose. Find your purpose and live the life intended for you... There is not another person on this earth that can give what you have to give. Why? Because you and I have different assignments that can only be carried out individually.

O HALLELUJAH!!! I'm in the next chapter... I am so grateful!!! It feels so good to be/see another year of possibilities...

Today... A day set aside for everyone that was born on August 30th... It's the most WONDERFUL time of the year... TO ME... 

 Turn the PAGE Day...Whatever happened before today is considered yesterday, and whatever doesn't happen today will be known as tomorrow... So I said that to say this... Live in today...  Each day brings on both challenges and victories. You have what it takes on the inside to face whatever challenges you may face in the course of that day. Obstacles/challenges are assigned to your day for one purpose. 5,4,3,2,1... Victory!!! There will never be a victory without a challenge. Challenges are given to help you realize the greatness (Jesus the Christ) that lives within YOU... 

                           Phillippians 4:11-13

No one is capable of carrying out the assignment given unto you. You don't need anyone's approval to do what makes you. This is a personal journey between you and God. Many may start out with you, but realistically speaking, some will turn and go the other way. Why,? Because their time and purpose on those pages are over. ALWAYS remember that you are the captain of your ship.

Whatever you face today, will only be  accomplished if you set your mind to accomplish it. Yes, there is a tomorrow, but I know this "LilGirl" that once said these words to me... "Never put off for tomorrow what you are capable of accomplishing today".... Others may assist you on the ship, but it's your dream, your passion, your desire and only YOU can bring it into reality... You are the determining factor of  of your destiny. After today you have 1 more day remaing in this month. It's your time... Are you going to continue to read the same chapter or will you turn the page...

Time/Silent Excuses

🎶Well, hello there. My it's been a long time. How I'm doing, o I am doing fine...

For those of you that don't know the melody above, it's an ole school (foreal) ole school by Dorothy Moore...

🎶Ain't it funny how time slips right on away...

                                     Year  2000

Time... Something that comes so quickly and once it passes, you can't get it back. Kinda like saying or doing something for or with someone. Once it's done, it's done. That time has lasped and you can't get it back. It's all done in time...

Well, the same applies to life which is time. You only have this time now in your life right, so my question is, what are you going to do with it? Are you going to hold onto pain and sorrow, OR, are you going to step into the present and make something happen?

Everything is time based. Work=Time based, School=Time based, Shopping=Time based, Relationship=Time based... Everything and everybody has a certain time to live. So, when/what will be the right time for you to live again.

Everyday, we're constantly being exposed to "Breaking News"... Something is always breaking. But just because it is breaking doesn't necessarily mean it has to break you. Just because you broke your left arm, does that mean you can't continue to function? No, you still have  other body parts that are willing and capable of functioning...

Oftentimes than I care to recall, I used things of past pain to stop me from moving forward. Big Mistake... Everytime I wanted to move forward, I would remind myself of past pain, failures, etc and those thoughts  would cause me to fall back and convince myself that its not the right time... Honestly, it wasn't that it was the wrong time, if the truth is to be known,  the time was then, but because I used these reasons... 5,4,3,2,1... Anger, Fear, and Pain... I remained in pain, and I continued to listen to fear, and I continued to make the same mistakes, all because I was wrestling with time. Time was telling me to continue to move forward, but those 3 associaes (within me) listed above, had me convinced that it wasn't time. Yes, those three words have caused so much  heavy weight in my life. So much until at one point in my life I forgot how to turn the page. Instead of turning the page, I kept reading the same sentences over and over. And before I knew it, time had slipped right on away.

Yes, I know everything has a time and a season, but let me clear my throat, the time you spend waiting on time is actually your main time to prep, research you, your responsibilities, your dreams, your drive, etc., so when that season of your life comes(and believe me, it will), your renewed mindset (original), will experience your season,(s) in calmness. Why? It's simple... Once you free your mind of negative people, places, and things, and begin to step into your time, you will shine bright like a diamond! It's your time to love again, live again, be free again, be happy again, be YOU again. It is time for you to be the best version of you. And if others, for some strange reason don't care to participate, continue to celebrate YOU... Life is a journey that has a final destination. Are you going to allow time to slip away from you again? Or are you going to to tell life that the time has come for YOU to "Live YOUR Blessed Life"...  What's it gonna be..?

A special thank you to  "Bell Salon Spa"... Y'all, Upon her arrival at the Salon today, up until her departure, the CREW wished her a HAPPY BIRTHDAY... Thank you guys... 

A special "thank you" goes out to Edward (coworker).. Y'all, he SANGGED not sung, happy birthday to LIL'GIRL. It was sooo cool!! You had to be there to see her facial expression. It was priceless...He walked over to where she was sitting, reached for her hand and began to sing! Lil'Girl was speechless..  The only thing that we heard come from her was "ummmp" She was shocked and happy at the same time. She wore that Kool aid smile for real. It was so cute and funny... A memorable moment... THANK YOU SO MUCH...

Yo know LOVE isn't love until you give it away. Heck, if the truth was to be told, love is the one thing you can give away freely😉... It is not based on a feeling, it is based on actions...

She loves her family, and OMG she loves to laugh.😂😂😂 O yeah she is very, consistent...She has restricted hours for recieving calls. So, if you decide to reach out to her via phone, please be mindful of the time... 😂😂😂Below I have given you a time frame that's NOT a good time to call. Please, again I say, be mindful of the time. She may  answer, she may not.. 😂😂😂 it depends on how interesting the program is.

Look y'all, she makes the buzzer sound if the answer is really dumb😂😂😂😂 I be rolling, and sometimes when the answer is really really dumb, we look at each other and make the buzzer sound together 🤣🤣🤣 HILARIOUS.

SUPERMANor just Super?

Yeah ladies, ain't nothing like to soul of a woman. We rock the earth right? Ummm or do we. Oftentimes we place so many restrictions on the opposite attraction until we forget that they are another human being.

So ladies with that being said, allow me to dedicate this blog to the gentlemen... But before I go into this dedication, I need everyone that is reading this to understand  I am by no means asking you to think(agree) with my thoughts, these are my views only. With that being said...

Gentlemen... 

Are you a SUPERMAN or are you just super?

Easy, easy... I am only asking a question. There is no need for you to get all in your feelings. Oh yeah ladies, men do have feelings. Although some try to be without feelings, and play like nothing bothers them, but you and I both know that's not possible. Why? They are human beings. And I promise you three things. #1. He is still reading this blog, (feelings- curious)  #2 he's getting uneasy because I am taking too long in revealing my definition of SUPERMAN or just Super

 (feeling-frustation). #3  by now he has said he could care less than minimum as to what I think about him

(feelings 1and 2)😂😂😂😂. It's all good tho'.. Laugh with me...  You know you want to laugh😂cause you know its true.

Ok,  I am done...😉 My answer (Valerie) is this... there is no right or wrong answer. Why? Because life will sometimes make you feel like SUPERMAN (warriors). Then sometimes that same life will make you feel just super.(everyday person)... It all depends on their mood and atmosphere.  If it's a good place, they are SUPERMAN, but if it is a little rough around the edges, they have a tendency to fall back and become just super. Either way is to be acceptable simply because you are human. You live in a body with many feelings operating at the same time. So, there can never be a right or wrong answer to this question. All that is required is that whatever mood you are feeling, make it work for you in a positive way.  Don't stop loving you. Your positive energy is something that we need. You were to first human creation, therefore we as women, need you to rise up and be Men. Men of respect, character, honesty, and most importantly YOU. Stop playing ole school games in 20th century seasons. Be who  you were created to be...  "Men of Distinction"... Who knows in the midst of doing so, maybe, if you stay true to you, you will have the opportunity to 

(if married) experience the soul of your woman again

 ( if single) perhaps you will attract your "Soul of a Woman"

People Pain/Releasing

🎶"Re, re, re,re, Release Yourself... Everday's a new day"...

There comes a time in life when you get sick and tired of being sick and tired. Peace wants you but you want allow Peace in. I call this unnecessary drama.

Now before you shut me down, hear me out...

Everyday that you hold onto yesterday's anger, it robs you of your peace. It's like wearing shoes that are old, busted and disgusting. You know you need new shoes because the old shoes are becoming very  uncomfortable. But instead of buying new shoes, you continue to wear the worn out shoes  because they FEEL comfortable. Eventhough the strap is broken they have holes, and the soles of the shoe is floppy, you continue find a way to patch it back together, knowing it will break again... Such is life... You continue to patch, stich, glue things together that you know you should just simply let it go... Throw away the buy you a new pair of shoes...Holding onto past hurts or anger is a distraction...it's like a double portion of negative energy...

 

Now I know some may think that I don't understand the pain you have endured, and that much is true. I don't know your pain, but I do know this... Pain is pain regardless. Life has a way of supplying both joy and pain. It's like sunshine and rain. Therefore, you must decide whether or not you are going to remain and suffer or are you going to take the necessary steps to rid yourself of the pain.

How do you RID yourself of people pain...

5,4,3,2,1... Forgive... Change your thoughts... Move forward...

Realize that people are just like you. They are human...They make mistakes just like you. But Valerie, he/she hurt me and I didn't deserve it. Ok, but ask yourself the question how long are you going to hold onto what you didn't deserve? Stop it! LET IT GO and move FORWARD.

There is so much more to you than your past. Yesterday's pain is Today's victory. Begin to see yourself as an UNIQUE INDIVIDUAL. There is only one you. No one can be you but you. Originality is the key to your future. What's it going to be? People Pain or Productivity...

You have a choice.

Positive/Negative Energy

 🎶 "Happy people keep the world turnin' turnin' turnin'"...

Having positive energy is simply being optimistic about situations, interactions, and yourself. When you have a positive attitude, you will keep hope alive even in difficult situations.

Everyday we wake up we have a choice. We have the right to choose if our day will be productive or defeated. How? By the words we speak. Your words are very powerful. They can make you or break you.  Example... "Man, I don't feel like going to work today. I don't feel like being bothered"...DEFEATED... Negative Energy.....You just gave permission to yourself to be unapproachable. How? Verbal/Body language. Although you may have a smile on your face, your body language is telling something else. It's in your walk, the swinging of your arm, bobbing of the head... Don't play... We are all guilty. And it's okay. Why? You are human.

One of the realities of knowing who are is to understand that you are human, and being human means you have emotions of both positive and negative energy.

Yes, I would love to tell you that I never have days of silent frustration, but for me to tell you that, indicates that I am not who I was created to be...                                        Human....

There will come a time that regardless of how much positivity you speak, you will still experience those "I don't care" day(s). That's life... But can I tell you this... 5,4,3,2,1...  You have a choice... What's the choice? Either you dwell on wanting to entertain the negative or simply... Change your thoughts... Yes, it goes back to you!!! What started as a bad day at 0800 can easily change by 1300. You have the power to change your thoughts at any time. You're going to do one of the two things, Dwell/Let it go.

 ...Fact... You will never please everyone,  stop trying, just do your best to show love/positive energy with everyone you come in contact with. Try it...

No more Rain(Excuses)

These are the lyrics of Angie Stone...  " You broke me down".... Don't play... you know that song.😂 And have sung it also.😂 

Whether it be by way of a relationship or just life, each of us  have had several rainy clouds to appear from time to time. But remember behind every rainy cloud, there is SUNSHINE..

All it takes is a changed mind... And whose mind are you in control of? ... 5,4,3,2,1,YOU!!!  You are your Sunshine...You can see clearly now the rain is gone.  You are becoming the person you desire to be... So my questions to you are....Do you believe what you just read?

If so, stop defeating  yourself?  When are you going to allow the sun to shine again? Or better yet, when are you going to stop waiting on others to bring you sunshine?

Nothing stays the same. It does not rain 365 a year. At some point the sun will shine. Today is a day you will never have again simply because once you advance into another day, the previous day will be called yesterday. And yesterday's journey will not be the same as today's. Some similarities, but not the same. Each day has it's own journey.  And as much as we want to believe everything is great, fantastic, etc., we are destined to experience some trials and errors. It's life... But can I tell you that you have the power to overturn the trials and errors into success. Build on the trial... Start somewhere... And please stop using the excuse of "waiting on the Lord". Why are you waiting on something that is "finished". No more rain (excuses), in this cloud... Begin to see yourself in such a way that it causes some to wonder, and some to celebrate. Regardless, of what others may do/think, don't forget to bring out the BEST version of YOU...

Grateful Morning to You...

🎶And if, by chance, that special place that you have been dreaming of leads to a lonely place find your strength in LOVE...

Oftentimes than many we are faced with acceptance of who we are. Suggestions are presented to us as to how/what should or should not be. This can sometimes cause us to lose sight as to how we see ourselves. I, for one, can honestly say valuing others opinions/suggestions has brought me both good times, as well as, unpleasant times. Yet, still I rise!

Some of the suggestions were, if I may be honest, was not what I wanted for myself, but because the person suggesting

was someone that respected, I went along with the plan. Now for those of you that are saying I should have known better, please reverse the mirror. Remember before you got here, you were there. IJS😊

 

How do you see yourself? Do you see yourself as a people pleaser or do you see yourself as being an original. I personally, have grown to love me. One may ask, how did I did you get here?

Both Life/love have a way of bringing out the good, bad, and the ugly in each of us. That's why it is called life/love. It develops you into becoming greater version of you. 

My earthly father has been expired now for 33 years, and to this day I still remember the life/love conversation he shared with me. He simply said "there is no one in this world that can love you better than you". I didn't understand it at 18 nor did I want to hear that, but oh boy, do I appreciate it now.

So in conclusion, "don't try walking in someone else's shadow". Be an original. Learning to love yourself is the greatest love of all.

Dreams /Vision(s)

🎶 As long as you keep your head to the sky, you can win, optimistic 

When was the last time you had a vision of being a better version of you? I mean really. Have you ever asked yourself these 3 questions? HOW do I begin? WHEN do I begin. WHERE do I begin. If you have never had that conversation with yourself, all I have to say to that is "keepaliving". Life will teach you how to find the answers to These questions.  These 3 words, how/when/where, well they kinda of remind me of 2 other words....  Dreams/Vision(s)...

They both require thinking on your part along with action from you. You can't drive a vehicle without a steering wheel. Neither can you understand how/when/where without first having  a dream/vision(s)

To dream is to imagine...

To have a vision(s) is to become what you imagined.

What is your biggest dream/ vision(s) for yourself? Not what others think you should be dreaming/ imagining about yourself, but what gives you  happiness within yourself... And before you say that those thoughts can showcase acts of selfishness, arrogance, or pride, allow me to say it this way... What makes you happy? What is one thing you can do productively  everyday? Will it bring you joy or sorrow? Will it make you feel good about yourself? Will it help  make your future better. Now if you answered yes to any of these questions, guess what, you are not selfish, your are not arrogant, nor are you being prideful.  No. Actually it is the total opposite. It is actually indicates that you are one step closer to fulfilling your dream/vision(s). 

Fact: when you feel good about yourself, you are able to produce a better you. There is nothing wrong with loving yourself... ABSOLUTELY NOTHING... As a matter of fact, it's HEALTHY...

Stop competing and become who you were created to be. And that's between you and your God...

 Experiencing the beauty of loving yourself  makes you feel alive again.  It causes you to want to dream again. Laugh again. Unspeakable joy.  You know that joy that makes you sometimes feel overwhelmed with love. You can't explain it, all you know is that you feel  good about yourself and your surroundings.

 During the process of learning to love yourself, you learn that love is patient, love is kind, but also you learn that love is a winner. Do you see yourself as a winner? If so, trust the process. In other words... do something, (dream) so that you can win. 

 God reveals himself to each one of us individually on a daily basis. He loves us unconditionally. In spite of what others may think or say pertaining to you,  no one can fulfill your destiny except you. Dream, dreams... Have visions of your life. Go ahead... Paint the PORTRAIT of who you want to  become...😉 What do you see?

... Doing Just Fine. Hope you are.

For those of you that know me, you know that I am a Woman with many questions. I am constantly thinking, therefore questions are a part of me and my blogging. Each thought that we have comes with both a question and an answer. And with that being said, here's my questions...

     

"When did you stop loving YOU"? When was the last time you actually took time to love on YOU? I mean really love you. In spite of what others may think about you, when was the last time you enjoyed being comfortable in your own skin? Taking into consideration of the many distractions around us, and the different personalities we encounter on a daily basis, ask yourself this one question.

 If you have been following my blogs, you should know of me well enough to agree that I am a firm believer in you being an ORIGINAL... Being you is the one thing that no one can take away from you.. Others may imitate, and become duplicates, but at the end of the day there is only one You. You are your greatest asset. Love YOU.

... When was the last time you actually had fun with yourself? I'm talking quality time with yourself. Dinner, movie, long drive. Just quality time with yourself. Has it been a month, a week, years? Seriously... When? Umm maybe you should try it. Its actually a pleasurable moment. Just think, there's no one rushing you to leave. You are on your own time. No restrictions as to what's next. Just enjoying life with/being you. Now to some of you this may sound a little uncommon, however, once you have experienced a few of life challenges, you get tired of sleeping, and you wake up. You wake up and start the process of  becoming YOU. You realize that life hasn't passed you by, there's still life inside of you, therefore, you rise to the occasion. What is the occasion? LIFE...You... Dreamer... It all begins and end with you... Dream your biggest dream, and then become your dream... "Take what you have leftover and build on that" Wow! Now that's something to talk about... So much that I believe I will say it again...

               "TAKE WHAT YOU HAVE LEFTOVER...

                      AND

                           BUILD ON THAT"...
